Sarah Dunn, Renner

This book of candid, behind-the-scenes photographs is an intimate portrait of Marvel and Mission Impossible star Jeremy Renner. For several years, British Los Angeles-based celebrity photographer Sarah Dunn spent time with Renner, documenting his day-to-day life not only as a world-renowned film star, but also as a doting father, musician, and above all extremely generous human being. The gorgeous black and white photographs in this monograph, captured on Dunn’s beloved Leica, are all the more special because they were created before the photographer and her subject both experienced – and survived – separate catastrophic accidents.

This new release is a portrait of Renner; a celebration of life and human resilience - qualities which are beautifully captured in a heartfelt introduction by British actor, comedian and screenwriter Simon Pegg. In his essay, Pegg writes humorously and poignantly about his long friendship and camaraderie with both artists.

Renner will make it’s debut at the International Center of Photography (ICP) Photobook Fest in New York.
